Of Course Trend

Project Overview:
This video was a collaborative skit inspired by the popular TikTok "Of Course" trend, adapted for the College of Health and Behavioral Studies’ Instagram (@jmuchbs). My coworker, Mina Hakimpour, and I co-wrote, directed, and filmed the skit with the goal of connecting with students through humor and relatable campus experiences.

Objectives and Strategy:
We aimed to tap into a well-known social media trend to increase engagement and visibility while maintaining a tone consistent with the college’s branding. The script highlighted exaggerated student stereotypes in a playful way, making the content both entertaining and highly shareable among peers.

Outcome:
This skit became the highest-performing reel on the @jmuchbs Instagram page, generating strong engagement through views, likes, shares, and comments. It showcased the power of trend-based content when paired with strategic storytelling and strong production.
