Graduation Goodbye

Project Overview:
This video was created as a heartfelt farewell to our roles at James Madison University, set to the popular graduation trend song “I’ll Always Remember You” by Hannah Montana. As co-producer, director, and editor, I helped bring this video to life as a tribute to CHBS, our social media team, and the JMU community that supported us throughout our journey.

Objectives and Strategy:
Inspired by a viral trend among graduating seniors, we adapted the format to reflect on our time working with CHBS and to show appreciation for the people and platforms that shaped our experience. Our goal was to create an emotional, genuine send-off that still aligned with CHBS and JMU’s brand—balancing sentimentality with strong storytelling and visuals.

Production Details:

  • My Role: Co-producer, director, and editor

  • Tools: Canon EOS R6, Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Platform: Instagram (@jmuchbs)

Outcome:
The video served as a meaningful goodbye and a thank-you to CHBS, our coworkers, and the JMU community. It resonated deeply with followers, offering both nostalgia and appreciation in a way that stayed true to our voice and the university’s brand.
